Moaver bridges the transport gap

Moaver is there for...

A unique transport platform born from necessity

Transporters want to fill up their freight space, but don't know how. Private customers and companies want to ship their parcels and freight at the best value for money, but don't know how. Moaver was born out of this necessity.
Coming from a family of transport professionals, founder Roy Bleeker saw the gap between transport demand and supply grow. In fact, he often encountered this gap in his daily work. His employer wanted to move products quickly, but could not find the right transporter in time. This resulted in delays and waiting customers. So Roy decided to set up Moaver: an online platform that brings supply and demand together. It quickly and easily connects shippers and transporters, without the need to invest a lot of time and money.
Current transport brokers and transporters do not make online matching any easier. Shippers have to wade through registration procedures before they can even see if a broker or transport company can meet their transport needs. For example, to see if a transporter operates to certain destinations, at certain times, and offers certain transport options such as temperature-controlled transport or passenger transport. Surely there must be a smarter way of doing this?

Moaver makes matching easy

Moaver has a clear mission: to make it easier to match transport supply and demand, for both shippers and transporters. To do this, Moaver takes a unique approach. After a quick registration, Moaver will take the search out of your hands. This means that transporters and shippers know how to find each other, with minimal investment in time and money.

How does Moaver help transport companies?

  1. Transport companies create a one-off profile on Moaver.
  2. In this profile, they specify which transport options they have available at any given time.
  3. Does a suitable transport request come in? Then Moaver emails it to the transporter.
  4. The transporter is in control: they decide for each job whether they want it or not.
  5. Is a transporter interested in a transport assignment? Then Moaver sends their profile to the shipper.
  6. The shipper indicates whether the interest is mutual. If so, Moaver asks the transporter to submit an offer using the fixed format.
  7. Is the offer accepted? Then the transporter can accept and schedule the job.

How does Moaver help shippers?

  1. Companies or private customers create a transport order in Moaver. The process takes two minutes and consists of seven steps.
  2. In these steps, they enter relevant search criteria: What do they want to send, when and where to? Do they want to send parcels carbon-neutral? Do they need help with loading/unloading? Is the shipment urgent?
  3. Moaver selects up to three suitable transport companies that offer their quotes within 4 hours and emails their quotes to the shipper.
  4. From the maximum three quotes, the shipper chooses the preferred transport company.
  5. Moaver arranges the agreement with the transport company and puts the shipper and the transporter in touch with each other.
